Introduction: Amoxicillin is a penicillin type of antibiotic medicine. It kills bacteria by preventing their growth which is necessary for their survival. It is not much useful in infections caused by viruses such as flu. Amoxicillin is also used together with other medicines or antibiotic to treat stomach ulcers. It is advised to use plenty of fluids while using this medicine.
