Description

This three oral anti-hyperglycemic drugs Glimepiride, Pioglitazone and Metformin Hydrochloride are used in the management of type-2 diabetes (NIDDM).

Glimepiride : Glimepiride is an oral diabetes medicine that is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Pioglitazone: Pioglitazone is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Metformin Hydrochloride:  Metformin is used with a proper diet and exercise program and possibly with other medications to control high blood sugar. It is used in patients with type 2 diabetes. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems.
